The collection consists of two legal documents from the United States Circuit Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania: United States vs. Marmaduke Curtis, indictment for levying war (treason), 28 May 1795 (22 p.), and the United States vs. James Howart and Edward Wright, indictment for levying war, 19 Oct. 1795 (40 p.); and four estate papers for Ellen J. Adams, in the United States Circuit Court in Iowa, Scott County, copies of two notices and two petitions, William Campbell, guardian and plaintiff vs. William Adams, minor and defendant, to sell the real estate of Ellen J. Adams in Scott County, Iowa, September term 1871.
